Sensory Room

Walworth has an exciting addition to our therapeutic provision for children. We have developed a sensory room which can be used as a relaxing calming environment as well as an interactive stimulating space. The resource will support children’s emotional well-being when the learning environment becomes overwhelming. The facility will also provide a learning space where they can develop colour recognition, hand to eye co-ordination and improve their gross and fine motor skills. We are working alongside Occupational Therapy to further develop the rooms soft play resources and programs of intervention.
